You may be leaving behind a powerful kingdom that can stand the test of time, but you're done. When your character dies, you play his successor as determined by your inheritance laws, and if your bloodline has run out, it's game over. You spend your time playing as a character. Yes, there are wars and conquest, expanding and collapsing kingdoms, and war between religious ideologies, but where most of the complexity lies is in managing your dynasty. So, if you happen to be familiar with that LP, this will probably resemble the Castille playthrough to some degree.Ĭrusader Kings 2 is ultimately a game about people. I've done a similar LP before for Europa Universalis 3: Divine Wind.

It may also likely prove to be helpful for those who've played EU3 or CK1 before, but want to see what's different about this title.

My goal here is to introduce the game to those people who have been curious onlookers for CK2, but were turned off by the complexity. This is an instructional LP for Crusader Kings 2, Paradox's latest historical strategy game.
